Cruise Line Plans Entertainment Overhaul Fleetwide
A raft of new entertainment and enrichment programs is set to debut across the fleet of Oceania Cruises, the upscale boutique line known for its culinary offerings and destination-focused itineraries.
One new event calls for guests to put on their best blue outfit for The Blue Horizons Party, which will be held on every voyage and modeled on what the line calls a private yacht soiree.
Other new offerings begin at sunrise with wellness sessions and end after sunset, with original stage productions, themed parties, live music, and plenty in between.
“These enhancements reflect our commitment to delighting our discerning guests with experiences that match their sophisticated tastes – combining enrichment, wellness, and celebration into unforgettable onboard moments,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises.
“It’s entertainment with meaning and heart, and we cannot wait to reveal more in the coming months,” Montague added.
The Blue Horizons Party, which was introduced on Oceania Marina, is now expanding to all ships. With clothing that matches the vast blue ocean, each event will offer signature cocktails and live music as guests mix and mingle.
A big part of the cruise line’s enhanced offerings comes in the form of wellness and enrichment, particularly aboard Oceania Cruises’ newest ship, Oceania Vista, and the new-build set to debut in July 2025, Oceania Allura.
On these ships, guests can start the day with guided stretches and yoga instruction in the ships’ theaters and enjoy wellness treatments in the Aquamar spa. The wellness theme continues across the fleet with themed shore excursions and healthy food choices in the Grand Dining Room and the Aquamar Kitchen.
Oceania Vista launched in 2023, and Oceania Allura is in the final stages of outfitting at a Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. The ship will enter service from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025, one week earlier than originally scheduled.
Both Oceania Vista and Oceania Allura are in the line’s new Oceania-class, and accommodate 1,200 guests. Six additional ships, all in the Regatta-class, include Oceania Marina and Oceania Riviera, both with capacity for 1,250 guests, and Oceania Nautica, Oceania Insignia, Oceania Regatta, and Oceania Sirena, all accommodating 684 guests.
New Shows, Guest Speakers to Engage Oceania Guests
Entertainment and enrichment are also part of the line’s enhanced programming, and these offerings will feature new stage shows, culinary events tied to destinations on the ships’ itineraries, a guest speaker series, game nights, special dining experiences, and onboard performances by world-class musicians.

Creative workshops will be presented in the ships’ Artist Loft areas and in the libraries, and themed deck parties will enable guests to make new friends. Details about the new offerings will be revealed soon, the line promises.
Oceania Cruises offers itineraries across the globe, and in summer 2025, will sail some 100 voyages of varying lengths, from 7 to 57 days.
New for summer 2025, the line is taking advantage of the appeal that Alaska cruises have enjoyed in recent years by deploying Oceania Riviera to The Great Land for the first time. The ship holds twice the number of guests as Oceania Regatta, which had sailed Alaska itineraries in recent years.
In 2025, Oceania Regatta will instead be deployed to the South Pacific, offering voyages from Tahiti.
With embarkations available in Seattle, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Whittier, Alaska, Oceania Riviera will sail 7- to 12-day voyages.
